Gordon Johnson – Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst covering Alternative Energy Companies.
Mr. Johnson has more than 8 years of experience as an equity research analyst and was recently ranked by Bloomberg among the top stock pickers in the solar space since initiating coverage in 2008.
The addition of Mr. Johnson establishes Axiom Capital’s global coverage of the Clean Technology sector, further augmenting the company’s breadth and knowledge in the space given its experience advising companies in sectors such as the clean coal, solar, biofuels and biomaterials, smart grid, energy storage, geothermal, and fuel cell sectors.
Mr. Johnson joins Axiom Capital from Hapoalim Securities, where he spent over two years, most recently as a Senior Vice President for the Alternative Energy equity research department.
Prior to that, Mr. Johnson covered semiconductor technology and solar companies at Lehman Brothers. He received a BA with a major in both Finance and Economics from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Johnson has been recognized for his accurate stock picks in numerous publications including Bloomberg, Barrons’s, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, FT.Times, and TheStreet.com. Gordon has also had numerous appearances on Bloomberg T.V. and CNBC.
